Providing a reliable picture for Suffolk Primary Care

Suffolk Primary Care delivers health care across the county from ten medical practices, and had already implemented intelligent temperature monitoring systems in fridges and freezers across the Group. Identified limitations within the system led the team at SPC to investigate alternative solutions matching their requirements more closely.

Running a free trial with RemoteM enabled SPC to assess the system in use, and determine its suitability for their applications. RemoteM is now up and running in all ten practices, with over forty nodes installed in fridges and freezers to ensure vaccines, medicines and other temperature-sensitive materials are kept in optimum condition.

Of particular importance to SPC was continuity of information. In the event of any loss of power or communications, RemoteM continues to take readings and store data, backfilling the records once connections are up and running again.

“Installing and operating RemoteM has been a really positive experience,” stated Estates Lead Christy Paxman. “The RemoteM team has been particularly responsive to our questions and enquiries. We schedule our reporting on a monthly base, so the team tailored the function to match our requirements and also changed elements in the reporting suite, which has resulted in significant time savings for us.”
