Automating processes and saving money for Mendip Vale Medical Group
Earlier this year, Mendip Vale Medical Group installed RemoteM equipment to monitor twenty-four fridges across eight practice locations in the South West. The Group had been using dataloggers and found them time consuming, often inaccurate and unable to provide reliable information in the event of unplanned events such as power failures.
Installing the system has already saved a significant amount of time, money and valuable vaccine stocks. “During the short time we have been using RemoteM to monitor temperatures in our fridges and freezers, the system has definitely paid for itself in terms of identifying and alerting on events which would otherwise have resulted in significant loss of stock,” explained Andy Carpenter, Digital Director for the Group. “We can clearly identify that we have reduced costs, improved efficiency and simplified the monitoring process for our team.”
Automating fridge monitoring has saved valuable staff time, eliminated repetitive administrative procedures and freed up clinical staff for patient-facing activities.
